• Anthropic API Key: Required to use the Extension. Stored locally in your browser using Chrome's secure storage API.

Information Collected Automatically

• Transaction Data: When you use the Extension, it reads transaction information (merchant names, amounts, dates, descriptions) from the QuickBooks Online page you are viewing.
• QuickBooks Categories and Vendors: The Extension reads your available expense categories and vendor list to provide accurate suggestions.

How We Use Your Information

Transaction Processing

• Transaction details are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI API to identify merchants and suggest appropriate expense categories.
• The AI may perform web searches to research vendor information.
• This processing happens in real-time and data is not stored after processing.

Local Storage

The following data is stored locally in your browser:

• Your Anthropic API key (encrypted by Chrome)
• Your preferred processing mode (one-at-a-time or batch)
• Temporary batch processing results (cleared after use)
